Jordan Matyas has spent over 20 years working in and around government. In addition to his law firm, Matyas is an advisor at 1818 an advocacy group. Most recently, Jordan served as Chief of Staff for the Regional Transportation Authority, supervising a staff of 120 people and a budget of $38 million. Prior to that, he served as the Illinois State Director for the Humane Society of the United States. Jordan has worked at almost every level of government including the White House, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations, the Illinois Legislature and the City of Chicago Law Department, among others.
Jordan has litigated and represented clients on a variety of issues including personal injury, building code violations, financial regulations, toxic torts and a variety of other subjects.
Jordan lives with his wife Tiffany Madigan and their two kids in Lincoln Park. Jordan is on the board of the Old Town Triangle Association and Illinois English Bulldog Rescue.
